Okay for remote, leadership can be a mixed bag
Pros: I really appreciate the work flexibility; being remote from Austin has been a game-changer for my personal life. For Product Manager roles, there's a good amount of autonomy if you have a supportive direct manager. Plus, the benefits are solid.
Cons: The biggest issue is consistency from senior leadership. Strategic shifts in the ad tech market sometimes feel reactive, not proactive, and communication around changes can be really vague. It makes planning tough for the teams.
Advice to Management: Upper management needs to improve communication transparency and decision-making consistency. More support and clarity for mid-level managers would also help a lot.

Hybrid Model is Fine, Needs More Trust
Pros: The hybrid model does offer some WFH options, usually a couple of days a week. As a Marketing Specialist, having those focused days at home is a real lifesaver for deep work on campaigns. There's also some leeway with start and end times, which is appreciated.
Cons: The 'hybrid' schedule can feel a bit forced; they really push for those in-office days even when it feels unnecessary. It's frustrating to commute for meetings that could easily be remote. For folks in the adtech industry, consistent WFH beyond the set days isn't really an option.
Advice to Management: Trust your employees more with how and where they get their work done. Re-evaluate if mandatory in-office days are truly effective for all roles, especially for remote-capable roles like Marketing Specialist. A little more work flexibility would go a long way.
