Decent but Demanding for Corporate Roles
Pros: The health benefits are solid, which is a big plus. We do get some hybrid work flexibility, which helps a bit with daily commutes to the Miami, FL office. You also get travel discounts, a nice perk working for a major hospitality sector player.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially during peak booking seasons or new product launches. As a Revenue Management Analyst, I often worked over 40 hours a week to meet deadlines. There's a lot of pressure, and it can feel like you're always 'on,' making it hard to disconnect.
Advice to Management: I'd suggest setting clearer boundaries for workloads and encouraging managers to really support the hybrid work policy. It'd help a lot for corporate roles, especially in the busy cruise line industry, to prevent burnout.

Okay Work-Life, Could Be Better for Office Staff
Pros: The hybrid model is a lifesaver, honestly. Being able to work from home a few days really helps with the commute to the Miami, FL office. They've got a decent benefits package too, especially for a large corporate company.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough for entry-level roles like mine. Sometimes the hospitality industry demands long hours, especially when there are issues with shipboard operations. It feels like you're always on call, even after your shift is supposed to end.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage expectations for after-hours work for Guest Services Coordinator positions. Protecting employee off-time is crucial for preventing burnout in the cruise line business.

Hybrid Work is Decent for Corporate Roles
Pros: The large corporate environment does offer some hybrid model options for office-based staff. As an IT Support Specialist in the Miami office, I got 2-3 days WFH, which helps with daily commute and work-life balance.
Cons: Getting full remote approval is really tough unless you're very senior or in a niche role. Work flexibility isn't consistent across all departments, which can feel unfair. Some teams are strictly onsite within this cruise industry giant.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize work flexibility policies across departments and make them clearer. More WFH options would really help attract and retain talent in the Miami market, especially for technology positions, without impacting productivity.
