Okay for Sales Development, but career growth is slow
Pros: The Nooks platform is actually pretty solid; it makes the daily grind of cold calling a bit smoother. I liked being fully remote, which is great for a SaaS startup environment.
Cons: There isn't much of a clear path for career growth here, especially for SDR roles. I felt stuck after a year, with no real opportunities to move up or try new things in B2B sales. The training isn't great past onboarding.
Advice to Management: Management needs to create clearer career paths and offer more development opportunities for their sales development representatives. Invest in ongoing training beyond the initial setup.

Remote Flexibility is Solid at Nooks
Pros: I love that Nooks is a fully remote startup. As an SDR, I can work from California and set my own schedule. This work flexibility is a big perk for B2B SaaS sales roles, letting me manage my day around personal stuff.
Cons: Even with the remote setup, the hours get really long. You're expected to be available for calls outside typical 9-5, which eats into the flexibility. It often feels like more than a 40-hour week, making it tough to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Managers should be more mindful of rep burnout and encourage actual disconnection after hours, especially for remote sales teams. It's tough to use flexibility if you're always 'on'.
