Decent Flexibility for Software Devs Here

Persistent Systems offers decent work flexibility, especially for some engineering roles. It's a hybrid model, so you get some WFH days. However, it can really depend on your project and manager.


Pros

For us software engineers in Pune, the hybrid model is pretty solid. It's nice to have some work from home days each week. My team manager is cool with flexible start times if you get your work done, which helps with work-life balance.


Cons

But not all projects offer the same flexibility, especially for client-facing IT services roles. There's an expectation to be in the office more often if you're directly supporting customers. It can be tough if you're looking for full remote work options.


Advice to Management

Management should standardize work flexibility policies across all projects and IT services lines. It would really help retain talent and keep employees happy across the corporate structure.
