Flexibility is okay, but depends on your project
Working at Persistent Systems has been an okay experience overall. There's definitely a push for flexibility but it's not consistent across the board. If you land on a good team, you're set.
As a Software Engineer, I've had some decent work flexibility here. The hybrid model allows some WFH days if your project manager is cool with it. It's a nice perk in the IT services sector when it works out.
True flexibility really depends on the specific software development projects you're on. Some teams are pretty strict about onsite work in the Pune office. It can be tough if you need a truly flexible schedule all the time.
Try to standardize work flexibility policies across all projects and teams. This would really help employees feel more supported and reduce inconsistent experiences.
