Pros: I've had a really positive experience as a Software Developer at Thinkific. The company culture is genuinely collaborative, and my colleagues are always willing to help out or share knowledge. There are ample learning opportunities, from internal workshops to support for external courses, which has significantly boosted my technical skills in the EdTech industry. It's awesome working on a product that empowers creators globally.
Cons: The pace can be pretty fast sometimes, especially around product launches, which means occasional busy periods. Also, as the company scales, some internal processes for cross-team collaboration could be smoother. It's not a deal-breaker, but it sometimes slows things down slightly for us developers.
Advice to Management: Keep fostering cross-functional communication as the company continues to expand to ensure smoother workflows.

What is Thinkific's policy on remote work for their software engineering roles?
Thinkific supports a hybrid work model, allowing software engineers to work from home a few days a week. This flexibility is balanced with in-office collaboration days to foster team connection and innovation. While fully remote options may be limited, the hybrid approach offers a good blend of autonomy and teamwork.
