Pros: The remote work policy is super solid for a big FinTech company. As a Software Engineer, I can work from anywhere and my manager trusts me. This work-life balance is a huge plus.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like you're always 'on' because of different time zones. Communication can be tough across a fully remote team. It's harder to coordinate team events when everyone's spread out.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving asynchronous communication tools and processes to make remote collaboration smoother. Invest more in virtual team building for remote employees to foster connection.

Pros: I really like the remote flexibility for my Software Engineer role, it's nice not commuting. The team itself is generally supportive, and the WFH setup is well-supported with good tech for payment processing projects.
Cons: The work-life balance can really suffer, especially during peak sprints for new features. It's common to work more than 40 hours, and there's pressure to be available often, even being remote from Texas.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for remote employees. More realistic project timelines would really help prevent burnout for engineering teams and improve overall work-life balance.

Pros: Working as a Software Engineer, I've learned a ton from really smart colleagues. The fast-paced environment in the fintech industry pushes you to grow quickly.
Cons: The hybrid work model isn't as flexible as I'd hoped, making it tough to balance things. Sometimes the company culture prioritizes rapid delivery, leading to long sprints and a bit of burnout.
Advice to Management: Try to balance the need for rapid delivery with sustainable work practices for your engineering teams. More flexibility in the hybrid schedule would help.
