Great Place for Stability and Work-Life Balance in Enterprise Software
Pros: As a Technical Consultant at Infor, I truly value the excellent work-life balance, a big plus in the enterprise software industry. It's a hybrid role with good flexibility between the Atlanta office and remote work. My team is supportive, and I find solid opportunities to learn new cloud solution skills. The company feels very stable.
Cons: Internal approval processes can feel slow sometimes, common for a large enterprise company. While growth paths exist, career progression isn't always as fast as I'd prefer for individual contributors.
Advice to Management: Continue to streamline internal processes to help speed up project delivery and consider more clearly defined career development tracks for individual contributors.

Pay is just okay for a big tech firm
Pros: The remote work arrangement is a huge plus, giving good work-life balance for Software Engineer roles. Health benefits, like medical and dental, are pretty solid here. The PTO policy is also decent for a big enterprise software company.
Cons: Salary for a Software Engineer at Infor is definitely not competitive for the industry. Bonuses aren't very predictable, and raises are usually quite small. There's also not much in terms of significant stock options or retirement matching.
Advice to Management: Seriously re-evaluate the compensation strategy for technical roles across the board. To attract and retain top talent in enterprise software, Infor needs to offer more competitive salaries and better bonus structures. Invest in your people.

Solid pay, slow career growth path
Pros: The compensation package and benefits are quite good. You get solid exposure to enterprise-level ERP software development. It's a stable company, so there's good job security.
Cons: Career growth is genuinely slow here. Promotions for technical roles don't come easily; you really have to fight for them. There isn't a clear path for advancement if you want to stay in an individual contributor role.
Advice to Management: Management should really invest more in clear career ladders and mentorship programs. It would help retain talent, especially for experienced Software Engineer roles. Focus on internal mobility and growth for technical staff.
