Decent for cybersecurity, but it's a grind
Pros: The remote work flexibility is a solid perk. You can often manage your own schedule, which is great. It's a stable company in the cybersecurity industry.
Cons: There are definitely peak times. You're expected to push hard before big releases. It can feel like more than a 40-hour week sometimes, especially for us Software Engineers.
Advice to Management: Try to balance project loads better. Help teams avoid constant crunch mode. It helps with retention.

Decent flexibility for a big security company
Pros: I've been a Software Engineer here, and the remote work option is a huge plus. It's solid for work-life balance in the cybersecurity industry. I could usually manage my own schedule for daily coding tasks.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility feels limited by meeting heavy days, especially across time zones. You're expected to be online for core hours, which can be tough. It's not full 'work whenever' freedom.
Advice to Management: Try to optimize meeting schedules for remote teams across different time zones. More asynchronous work options would really boost flexibility for roles like Software Engineer.

Solid Start, But Career Growth is Limited
Pros: I've learned a ton about vulnerability management and enterprise security software here. The initial training for new Cybersecurity Engineers is solid, and you get hands-on experience with real-world products. It's a decent place to build foundational skills in the industry.
Cons: Upward mobility is pretty slow, especially for technical cybersecurity roles. There aren't many clear paths for promotion, and it feels like internal growth opportunities are few and far between. You really have to fight for any advancement or title change.
Advice to Management: Create more defined career ladders for individual contributors. You should really prioritize internal promotions and provide clearer growth paths for technical roles.
