Great place for design professionals to grow, good flexibility.
Pros: I've really grown as a Senior Interior Designer here at Livspace in Bengaluru. The collaborative environment is great, and you get to work on so many diverse home interior design projects. There are solid learning opportunities, and the hybrid work model offers good flexibility, which is a big plus for work-life balance in this fast-paced industry.
Cons: Sometimes, the project timelines can be pretty tight, leading to busy periods and a bit of pressure. Also, some of the internal approval processes can feel a little slow, which impacts design execution speed. It's not a major issue, but something to be aware of.
Advice to Management: Keep focusing on streamlining internal processes to enhance project delivery speed. Supporting teams through busy periods with clearer communication and resource allocation would also be beneficial for maintaining work-life balance.

Energetic but Demanding Culture for Designers
Pros: The teams are super collaborative, especially in the Bangalore office. You get to work on cool interior design projects. There's always something new to learn from other designers and engineers.
Cons: The work-life balance isn't great, honestly. There's constant pressure to meet targets. Sometimes it feels like a high-pressure sales environment, not just a design studio. This can make the culture a bit cutthroat.
Advice to Management: Try to ease up on the constant pressure for design roles. It would help improve overall morale. Better support for work-life balance is crucial.

Hybrid model is okay, but needs refinement
Pros: The hybrid work model is a decent start for a growing tech startup like Livspace. As an Interior Designer in the Bengaluru office, I could WFH a couple of days a week. It offers some flexibility for managing client calls and initial design solutions from home.
Cons: However, the onsite days often felt mandatory, even if I had no physical meetings or collaborative design projects. Sometimes you're expected to be 'on' outside standard work hours for client needs, which cuts into personal time. The lack of genuine work flexibility for non-design roles seemed even worse.
Advice to Management: Try to make onsite days more intentional and less about just being present. Empower teams to decide when office presence is truly beneficial for collaboration on home interiors and design projects. Also, set clearer boundaries for client communication outside of work hours.
