Pros: I do appreciate the hybrid work model; it offers some flexibility to choose where you work a few days a week. The team in the London office is genuinely great, which helps when things get tough. It's a fast-paced environment.
Cons: Work-life balance as a Software Engineer can be a real struggle here. There's constant pressure to deliver in the telecoms software space, and it often means working past 5 PM, sometimes much later. It's tough to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Really look at the workload expectations for engineering teams. More realistic sprint planning would make a huge difference in preventing burnout. It's a big tech company now, not a startup.

Pros: I've learned so much about the CPaaS industry as a Software Engineer here. It's a really fast-paced environment and you get to work with some cutting-edge tech. There are opportunities if you're proactive.
Cons: Honestly, the job security isn't great, especially with the global tech downturn. There's been some internal restructuring and team changes that make you wonder about stability in the London office. It creates a lot of uncertainty.
Advice to Management: Clearer communication on company direction and potential team changes would really help morale. It's tough when people worry about their future.

Pros: The tech stack is pretty modern for a cloud communications platform. I got to work on some cool projects and definitely learned a lot as a Software Engineer. The remote setup, even from Berlin, gave me great work flexibility.
Cons: Job security here isn't strong. There have been several rounds of layoffs, which makes everyone nervous. Constant reorgs also make it hard to know where you stand or what's next for your team.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be clearer about the company's future plans. More transparency about changes, especially layoffs, would help morale. It's tough when you're always wondering about your job.
