Stable Company with Good Learning Opportunities
Pros: Working as a Software Developer in construction tech, I really value the supportive team and the stable environment here. The hybrid work model in Stuttgart helps with work-life balance. We get good learning opportunities, and the pay and benefits are solid for the industry. It's a decent place to grow.
Cons: Career progression can feel a bit slow at times. Also, some internal communication could improve, and working with legacy systems can be challenging. Updates to old tech are ongoing.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing clearer, more transparent career progression frameworks, especially for technical roles. Enhance inter-departmental communication to reduce bottlenecks and improve project flow. Continue investing in updating core technology to stay competitive.

Decent Work Flexibility, But Not Always
Pros: The hybrid model is pretty solid for most development roles. I appreciated the option for WFH days, which definitely helps with my work-life balance. It's available, which is more than some companies offer.
Cons: Flexibility isn't universal; some teams require more onsite presence. For certain enterprise software projects, you're expected to be in the office a lot. It doesn't always feel truly flexible, and there's inconsistency.
Advice to Management: Standardize the work flexibility policy for all employees, especially for core software development teams. It shouldn't feel like a lottery based on your manager.

Solid construction tech, tough on your time
Pros: I've learned so much about the construction tech industry and the iTWO platform. The team in the Atlanta office is super supportive and I got a lot of client-facing experience. It's a good place if you want to dive deep into project management software.
Cons: Work-life balance as an Implementation Consultant is a constant challenge. Expect regular 50-60 hour weeks, especially during crucial client go-lives. It's often difficult to disconnect even with their hybrid work model.
Advice to Management: Management needs to address the workload expectations for implementation teams. Burnout is real, and it impacts long-term employee retention. More realistic project timelines would help.
