Pay's Okay, Benefits Could Be Better for Ad Tech
Pros: I've heard the sales commission structure is solid if you're hitting targets. My healthcare benefits were pretty standard, and the 401k match was okay, nothing groundbreaking but it's there. For a mid-sized company, it's not terrible.
Cons: Base salary for Programmatic Trader roles feels a bit low for the New York City market. There's not much room to negotiate, even with experience. Annual raises are usually minimal, so if you're looking for significant pay bumps in the digital marketing space, you might be disappointed.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate base salaries, especially for crucial roles like Programmatic Trader, to stay competitive in the NYC ad tech market. Stronger benefits packages could also help with retention.
