Pros: As a Sales Executive, there's decent work flexibility sometimes. I could often manage my own schedule for client visits in the chemical distribution industry. The hybrid model helped a lot with that.
Cons: But honestly, the work-life balance isn't always there. The pressure to hit targets is intense, meaning many 50+ hour weeks. It's tough, especially in the Singapore office, and weekend work happens.
Advice to Management: Management should really look at how to ease the sales pressure. Setting more realistic targets would help prevent burnout for the sales team.

Pros: Stability in the chemical distribution sector is a big plus. The WFH flexibility is pretty good, definitely helps with work-life balance for my Sales Coordinator role. My daily tasks are manageable.
Cons: Career growth is definitely a challenge; there aren't many clear paths to move up from my Sales Coordinator role. Promotions feel few and far between, and internal mobility isn't really a thing. The corporate structure feels a bit rigid for advancement.
Advice to Management: Focus more on developing clearer career paths and promoting from within. It would really help retain talent, especially for roles like Sales Coordinator in the Singapore office. Invest in training for growth opportunities.

Pros: The base salary for a Sales Executive here is actually decent, especially for the chemical distribution industry in Singapore. I've always gotten my commissions on time, which is a big plus.
Cons: Healthcare benefits are just okay; they could definitely be more comprehensive. The annual bonus structure isn't very transparent, and there aren't many extra perks compared to other corporate environments.
Advice to Management: Look into improving the healthcare package and make the annual bonus targets clearer. Better perks would also help with employee retention.
