Okay for Work-Life, But Can Be Stressful
Working here as a Claims Processor had its ups and downs. Work-life balance was okay, but it really depended on the time of year and how heavy the workload got. There are decent benefits, but flexibility isn't their strong suit.
The regular hours are a plus, usually 9-to-5 onsite work in the Manila office. When it's not peak season, it's pretty standard, which helps with work-life balance. Decent benefits too for a corporate environment.
But the workload for us as Claims Processors can get heavy, especially during enrollment periods in the healthcare industry. Overtime happens more than I'd like, and it really eats into your personal time. Not much work flexibility either.
Try to better distribute the workload across teams, especially for operational roles like Claims Processors. Offering more flexibility with work hours or occasional remote options would really boost morale and retention.
