Solid place, but company culture has quirks.
Pros: I've had some great experiences with my immediate team here at APM. The collaborative spirit among fellow project managers is strong, especially for complex tech project delivery. We do a lot of virtual team events, which helps if you're working remote from Seattle.
Cons: The overall company culture feels a bit siloed sometimes. It's hard to get different departments to work together smoothly, which is tough for Agile methodologies. There's also some internal politics that can make things frustrating within this corporate environment.
Advice to Management: Work on breaking down departmental silos. Encourage more cross-functional collaboration and transparency to improve the overall corporate environment and support tech project delivery better.

Decent Work-Life Balance at APM for Engineers
Pros: The hybrid work model is a huge plus, offering good work flexibility. As a Software Engineer, I can usually wrap up my sprint cycles within 40-45 hours a week in the Dallas office, which is solid.
Cons: It gets really tough during major release deadlines, pushing hours way up. Sometimes project demands from clients mean you can't really switch off completely.
Advice to Management: Try to buffer project timelines more to prevent last-minute rushes for the engineering teams. Better planning would help avoid burnout.

Leadership is Decent, Some Room to Grow
Pros: My direct manager here at APM is really supportive. They offer good guidance for my project coordinator tasks. It's a mid-sized company, so you don't feel like just a number.
Cons: Senior leadership can feel pretty disconnected from daily operations. There's not always clear direction on company-wide goals. Communication across the hybrid model could be way better.
Advice to Management: Try to be more visible and transparent with the whole team. Consistent communication from the top down would make a huge difference.
