Good Tech Company, Great Flexibility
Pros: As a Software Engineer at Kaseya, I appreciate the supportive team and continuous learning in IT management software. The hybrid work model in our Miami office offers fantastic flexibility, promoting a good work-life balance. It's a stable tech company with interesting projects and leadership that supports growth.
Cons: Some internal approval processes can be slow, and certain legacy systems make development less efficient. Career progression, while available, could be faster.
Advice to Management: Streamline some of the internal approval processes to boost efficiency and consider investing more in updating older parts of the tech stack. More clear pathways for rapid career progression would also be a great addition.

Hybrid Model is Okay, But Not Always Flexible
Pros: The hybrid model is actually pretty solid on paper for a big corporate company. We get set days for WFH, which is nice for avoiding the Miami commute. It definitely helps some days supporting MSPs.
Cons: Sometimes the 'flexibility' isn't super flexible in practice. As a Technical Account Manager, client needs often mean you're on call, even on WFH days. There's pressure to be in the Miami office more than the set hybrid days, especially for 'impromptu' team meetings.
Advice to Management: Try to really empower managers to offer true flexibility, especially for client-facing roles like Technical Account Managers. The current hybrid model isn't always fitting for everyone in the IT management software industry. Real flexibility matters.

Kaseya's Pay and Benefits Are Just Okay
Pros: The health benefits package here is pretty solid, covering a lot without huge out-of-pocket costs. They also have a decent 401k match, which is a nice perk for a corporate environment. For an IT Support Specialist, the overall package isn't the worst in the IT management software space.
Cons: Base salary is kinda average, honestly. Raises tend to be pretty small, and it's tough to hit those bonus targets, especially for remote roles. You often feel like you're working more hours than the pay reflects, which is common in demanding MSP solutions.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the base salary structure and make bonus goals more attainable for individual contributors. Recognizing hard work, especially in demanding roles like IT support for MSP solutions, would go a long way.
