Pros: The health benefits package is pretty solid for a startup, covering most of what I needed. They offer decent paid time off which is a plus for remote work. As a Software Engineer, the base salary is competitive enough for the construction tech industry.
Cons: Raises don't come around very often, and the bonus structure isn't super clear. Compared to bigger tech companies, the stock options aren't a huge draw. I wish the 401k match was more generous, especially with WFH setup.
Advice to Management: Review the compensation strategy, especially regarding raises and the 401k match, to stay competitive with the broader software industry, not just niche construction tech roles. Clearer bonus structures would help.
