Great Team and Learning Opportunities in Tech
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer here. The team is incredibly supportive and collaborative, which makes daily work much easier. There are always opportunities to learn new tech stacks and improve coding skills, which is great for career development in the tech industry. It feels like a stable environment, which helps with job security in this remote setup, making it a good place for professional growth.
Cons: While the team is strong, sometimes the approval process for new features can be a bit slow, impacting project velocity. Also, while job security is decent, the path for rapid promotions isn't always clear, especially for individual contributors. It's a minor thing, but worth noting for career progression planning within the company.
Advice to Management: Streamline some of the internal approval processes to help teams move faster on new initiatives.

Solid Marketing Role, Good Team, Decent Growth
Pros: As a Marketing Specialist, I appreciate the collaborative environment in our digital marketing industry. My teammates are great, and I've gained valuable experience across different projects. It's a stable place, offering good learning opportunities to expand my skills.
Cons: Promotion paths can sometimes feel a bit unclear or slow. Also, some internal processes could be streamlined to improve efficiency. It's a minor point, but it can affect project flow occasionally.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer communication on career progression and streamline some of the internal approval workflows to boost overall efficiency and project delivery speed.

Decent Flexibility, But Could Be Better
Pros: They're pretty good about letting you set your own hours if you get your work done. For software engineer roles, there's some decent work-from-home potential, especially if you're remote from Chicago like me.
Cons: The hybrid policy can feel a bit rigid sometimes. You still need to be in the office a set number of days, even when there's no real need for it. Not fully remote for everyone, which is tough.
Advice to Management: Consider more flexible options for the hybrid model. Trust your teams to get the job done without mandating strict office days.
