Pros: As a Software Engineer in the Sydney office, I appreciate the hybrid model they offer. We get some WFH days which is good for personal appointments. It's a fast-growing company, so there's always interesting work in the SaaS space.
Cons: Sometimes the workload can get pretty heavy, especially around product launches for our workforce management software. It's tough to truly disconnect sometimes. The expectations for responsiveness, even after hours, can be high.
Advice to Management: Leaders need to reinforce boundaries around after-hours work. Help teams manage scope better to prevent burnout, especially for engineering roles.

Pros: I appreciate the remote work flexibility; it's great being able to log on from my home office in Denver. For a SaaS company, they're pretty good about letting us manage our own schedules when not in meetings. It allows for some decent personal time.
Cons: The main struggle is balancing life during intense sprints. As a Software Engineer, feature deadlines for our workforce management software can really pile up. It's easy to work longer hours than planned, making it tough to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Try to normalize less aggressive sprint planning and provide clearer boundaries on after-hours communication to truly support work-life balance.

Pros: For a Software Engineer role, the base salary was pretty competitive in the Atlanta tech market. They do offer equity, which is a nice perk for a SaaS startup.
Cons: The health benefits aren't great; high deductibles are tough to deal with. Also, there's no 401k match, which feels like a miss for a company in the workforce management software industry. PTO is just standard, not very generous.
Advice to Management: Look at improving the health insurance plans and adding a 401k match. These benefits are really important for attracting and keeping talent, especially for core engineering roles.
