Pros: I've enjoyed my time on the software development team, especially diving into the telematics industry challenges. The people in the Auckland office are generally smart and helpful. It's a pretty decent place for engineering work if you like the product.
Cons: The company culture has shifted a lot recently, and not for the better. There's been a fair bit of turnover, making things feel less stable, and it's tough to build consistent team dynamics as a Software Engineer. Communication from upper management isn't always great, creating some uncertainty.
Advice to Management: Focus on retaining good talent and improving transparency in decision-making. Invest in the company culture again to make it a more appealing place for long-term careers.
