Pros: The health insurance is actually really good here, better than some other big tech companies I've seen. You also get unlimited PTO, which is nice for a software engineer, though it's not always easy to truly use it all.
Cons: Base salary for entry-level roles in the Chicago office often lags behind market rates for tech roles. Bonuses aren't very transparent and sometimes feel arbitrary for folks in the LegalTech industry.
Advice to Management: Review compensation bands for software engineer roles across the board, especially for junior and mid-level staff. Make bonus structures clearer.
