Pros: I've learned a lot about the solar energy industry and inverter technology, which is really cool. The engineering challenges are genuinely interesting for a Software Engineer, and it's a stable company. The hybrid model offers decent work flexibility.
Cons: The company culture can feel pretty corporate and a bit old-school, especially in the Fremont, CA office. It's often tough to get new ideas approved, and there's some micromanagement from certain team leads. Doesn't always feel very collaborative.
Advice to Management: Focus on empowering teams and fostering a more open, collaborative environment. Trust your engineers more and streamline the approval process for new initiatives.
