Pros: This company offers good job security in the HVAC industry. We work on essential fluid dynamics systems, so there's consistent demand. I felt very secure in my Applications Engineer position at the Toronto office.

Pros: The benefits package is pretty good, especially for a corporate environment. My colleagues are usually helpful and easy to work with. The company offers solid job security in the fluid flow solutions market.
Cons: Leadership can be slow to adopt new ideas, often sticking to old ways. It's tough to get clear direction sometimes for a Mechanical Engineer. Decisions from upper management don't always feel transparent.
Advice to Management: Listen more to front-line engineers about process improvements. Be more open to modernizing technology and methods in pump manufacturing. Improve communication around company-wide decisions and strategy.

Pros: As a Project Engineer, I usually stuck to a pretty solid 40-hour work week. The hybrid work model in the Buffalo office was a big help for managing personal stuff. You can mostly count on your weekends.
Cons: Sometimes, deadlines for new fluid dynamics projects meant staying late, especially if we had issues with pumps and valves. It wasn't always easy to disconnect, especially with calls from global teams or last-minute changes to commercial HVAC designs.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project timelines better and avoid last-minute changes that force long hours. Give the engineering teams more bandwidth to deliver quality without constant crunch time for new product development.
