Pros: You get to work on interesting EHS software challenges. The hybrid setup in the Toronto office is pretty chill. Colleagues are generally supportive, which is a big plus for a software development team.
Cons: Career growth for a Software Engineer here is really slow. There aren't many clear paths or opportunities to move up. It feels like you're stuck in the same role without much challenge.
Advice to Management: Create more defined career progression frameworks for technical roles. Invest in mentorship and internal training programs to help employees grow their skills. This would really help with employee retention.

Pros: I liked being able to work remote from Austin, TX most days. It's good for appointments or just getting focused work done. As a Software Engineer, having quiet WFH time was super helpful. They do have a pretty solid EHS software product.
Cons: The work flexibility really depends on your specific team lead. Some expect you to be onsite more, even with the hybrid model. It's not always 100% remote, which can be tough. Sometimes I felt like a larger corporate company, not a fast startup.
Advice to Management: Standardize the WFH and hybrid policies across all teams. Give managers clearer guidelines on flexibility. This would help a lot for employee retention.

Pros: The people I worked with as an Implementation Consultant were generally supportive and friendly. Team collaboration is pretty solid for a mostly remote setup. The WFH model gives good flexibility, which is a big plus; work-life balance here is generally decent.
Cons: Sometimes, the company culture feels a bit cliquey, especially when you're working remotely from Toronto. There's often a lack of consistent communication from leadership on bigger strategic decisions. Onboarding for new EHS software consultants could also be more structured.
Advice to Management: Focus on improving internal communication, especially for remote employees. Make an effort to integrate everyone better, and ensure all teams feel heard and informed on company direction.
