Pros: Being fully remote is a huge plus; I can manage my personal life much better. There's good flexibility to arrange your day, which is nice for a WFH setup. My immediate team often respects boundaries, so I get decent breaks.
Cons: Work-life balance can definitely suffer during crunch times, especially for cloud infrastructure projects. You're expected to be available often, and there's pressure to hit aggressive deadlines. The workload for database developers can get pretty heavy, leading to longer hours.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scopes and timelines. Give teams more breathing room between major releases.
