Pros: I really liked the folks I worked with in the supply chain automation division. Everyone was pretty supportive, especially when dealing with complex warehouse design projects. The hybrid work flexibility was decent, even if I was mostly remote from Dallas, TX.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit disjointed for remote employees. It's tough to feel connected sometimes, and there's not much informal team building compared to onsite. For intralogistics roles, it's easy to get siloed.
Advice to Management: Focus more on integrating remote team members into the overall company culture. Regular virtual events and dedicated budget for remote team engagement could really help bridge the gap for those of us not in the main offices.

Pros: The base salary for a Logistics Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA is pretty decent, especially with the current market for supply chain solutions. I like the 401k match, it's solid. Plus, the hybrid work model helps save on commuting costs.
Cons: Health insurance premiums are kinda high, which eats into your take-home pay. PTO isn't super generous compared to other corporate engineering roles. Bonuses aren't always what you'd hope for, and it's not super clear how they're calculated.
Advice to Management: Review the health insurance plans to make them more affordable for employees. Also, make the bonus structure more transparent and competitive for engineering roles.

Pros: The remote work setup is fantastic; it really helps with daily flexibility. I can manage my own hours most days, which is a huge plus. Working on diverse supply chain solutions keeps things interesting too.
Cons: It's easy for work to bleed into personal time. As a Project Engineer, I often found myself working beyond typical 40-hour weeks. Client demands for complex distribution center projects can be intense.
Advice to Management: Management needs to encourage better boundaries, especially for remote Project Engineers. The expectation to be 'always on' for distribution center projects can lead to burnout. Promote taking proper breaks.
