Hybrid setup is mostly decent
Pros: The hybrid work model is pretty good for us. We get two WFH days weekly, which really helps as a Digital Marketing Specialist. It's a solid perk for agency life, especially being in the Chicago office.
Cons: The 'flexible' days aren't always guaranteed though. Sometimes you're expected onsite for client stuff. It can mess up your work-life balance when remote plans change last minute.
Advice to Management: Try to stick to the promised WFH days for your Digital Marketing Specialists. Last-minute onsite requests really impact work-life balance.

Okay Culture, But Expect Typical Agency Grind
Pros: You get to work with big-name CPG clients, which is solid experience for anyone in commerce marketing. Colleagues are generally smart and supportive. The hybrid work model in the Chicago office is a definite plus for flexibility.
Cons: As an Account Manager, the hours can get pretty intense during peak seasons. The corporate agency culture feels a bit slow to adapt, and sometimes it's hard to push new ideas. Work-life balance isn't always prioritized, especially for client-facing roles.
Advice to Management: Try to modernize the company culture a bit more. Empower teams to innovate and truly prioritize work-life balance, especially for those managing client accounts. It would make a huge difference.
