Hybrid Model Has Its Ups and Downs
Pros: As a Software Engineer, my team's hybrid work policy is great. We're only in the Reading office once a week. This flexibility really helps with my work-life balance.
Cons: But it's not consistent across the whole corporate software company. Other teams, like customer support, have way less remote flexibility. It feels unfair, and some managers don't embrace it.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid policy across all departments so everyone gets similar benefits. More trust in teams for their work arrangement would help a lot.

Hybrid Model: Good, But Has Its Quirks
Pros: We get a solid number of WFH days. As a Software Engineer, this really helps cut down on the daily commute to the London office. The hybrid model offers some genuine work-life balance for software development roles.
Cons: The "flexible" part isn't always fully embraced by all teams. There's sometimes pressure to be in the office more often than advertised. Spontaneous in-office meetings can mess up your planned WFH schedule.
Advice to Management: Stick to the advertised hybrid schedule. Don't make us come in for meetings that can easily be done remotely. Support real work-flexibility for your software development teams.

Decent Work-Life, Can Get Busy
Pros: The **hybrid model** for us **Software Engineer** roles is great. You get some flexibility with your hours, and generally, they respect your evenings. It's a pretty good setup for balancing personal stuff.
Cons: Sometimes, for **enterprise software** releases, the project deadlines get really intense. This means late nights or extra weekend work can pop up, especially when we're all in the **London office** for crunch time. It definitely impacts your personal life then.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage the project timelines to reduce those intense crunch periods. It really helps with team morale and preventing burnout among the developers.
