Pros: Senior leadership really does mean well, they want us to succeed. The focus on cutting-edge voice security and fraud detection is exciting for software engineers. Teams often collaborate well, and my direct manager was solid.
Cons: Communication from the top about the overall company direction can be really inconsistent. It's hard to see the big picture for us in cybersecurity sometimes. For a startup, decisions can feel slow, and the vision shifts too much.
Advice to Management: Try to improve transparent communication from senior leadership, especially around long-term company strategy and product roadmap. Give clearer direction to teams working on voice security solutions.
