Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Project
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I've got a decent hybrid model option; usually two days in the Dublin office. It's nice to have some WFH flexibility, especially if the client is okay with it for IT services projects. For some project roles, there's good remote from Ireland potential too.
Cons: Sometimes the 'hybrid' just means you're expected onsite more often for client-facing projects. Can't always pick your WFH days, which is tough. There's not much flexibility if your project manager is old school; it really varies a lot by team.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid model across all client projects. Give employees more choice in WFH days, don't just leave it to individual project managers.

Project-based work has its pros and cons
Pros: It's a solid place if you're consistently staffed. As a Senior Software Engineer, I've had some engaging digital transformation projects. The team culture in the Dublin office is generally supportive and friendly.
Cons: The biggest con is job security between projects. There's real pressure to find a new role internally, or you risk being on the bench. For technical roles, if you're not client-facing, that bench time can be stressful with a hybrid model.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more clarity and support for employees between projects. The uncertainty really impacts morale and job security perception for many, especially in IT consulting.

Growth is there, but you gotta work for it
Pros: I've learned a ton working here, especially on tough client projects in the digital transformation area. As an IT Consultant, there are chances to develop new skills if you speak up. They do have some training modules that are solid.
Cons: Career growth isn't always clear, especially for consulting roles if you're stuck on a long project. You have to really push for promotions and new challenges, it's not always proactively offered. The pace can make it tough to focus on personal development outside of billable work in the Dublin office.
Advice to Management: Make career paths more transparent. Help managers better identify and nurture talent. Don't make people wait for annual reviews to discuss progression.

Leadership means well, but execution varies
Pros: I've worked here for a few years and some of the immediate project leadership is genuinely fantastic. There's a solid team culture, and the hybrid work model really helps with personal flexibility for my IT consulting role.
Cons: The biggest challenge is top-level leadership. Decisions often change course without clear communication, which makes long-term planning tough as a Software Engineer. Career growth pathways aren't always transparent, especially for the Dublin office.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer, more consistent communication from senior leadership down. Define and publicize transparent career progression frameworks for all roles, especially for software development professionals.

Career growth needs more focus for consultants
Pros: It's a large consultancy, so there are lots of different digital transformation projects to work on. That's good for getting diverse experience as a Software Engineer. The hybrid model offers some decent flexibility too.
Cons: Career growth for technical roles feels slow. Promotions aren't always super clear, and it's tough to move up without a lot of self-advocacy. Mentorship for early career roles isn't consistently available in the Dublin office.
Advice to Management: Improve the career progression framework, especially for technical roles like Software Engineers. More structured mentorship programs would really help retain talent here.

Okay for starters, but push for growth
Pros: I learned a lot working on various digital transformation projects for clients, which is solid experience for early career development. There are also decent internal training platforms if you make time for them.
Cons: The career path for software engineering roles isn't always super clear. You really have to advocate for yourself to get on new projects or move up. It's tough to get formal mentorship sometimes, especially in the Dublin office.
Advice to Management: Define clearer progression paths for junior employees and implement a more structured mentorship program. This would really help people feel more supported in their career journey.

Decent Project Teams, Overall Culture Needs Work
Pros: As a Software Engineer, I've met some genuinely supportive colleagues on my project teams. The culture within these smaller groups is pretty collaborative, which is great for tackling complex IT consulting projects.
Cons: The big IT consultancy feel means the overall company culture can seem fragmented. It's tough to feel a strong Version 1 identity when you're often just moving between client engagements while working remote from Dublin.
Advice to Management: Try to foster a stronger, unified company culture across all projects and locations, especially for remote employees. More internal events or cross-project collaboration would help.

Pay's okay, but benefits could be better
Pros: The pension matching here is decent, I'll give them that. For a corporate environment in IT consulting, they do offer solid health insurance too. Remote work setup is pretty good, which saves on commute costs.
Cons: Base salary for a Software Engineer feels a bit low compared to market, especially for digital transformation projects. You really have to push hard for raises; they don't just come to you. Bonuses aren't always great, and the review process for them can feel a bit opaque.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the salary bands for engineering roles, especially considering current market rates in the IT consulting space. Make the bonus structure more transparent.

Leadership is a mixed bag here
Pros: Some project leads are genuinely supportive and really help with technical challenges for us Software Engineers. The hybrid work setup in the Dublin office is pretty flexible, which is a big plus.
Cons: Upper management can feel pretty disconnected from day-to-day project work. There's not always clear communication on strategic decisions, which makes things tough for individual contributors. It feels like they're often chasing new clients without properly supporting existing project teams.
Advice to Management: Try to connect more with the individual contributor level. Get better at communicating strategy and support your technical staff consistently.

Steady work in IT consulting, mostly good
Pros: It's a solid place for job security in IT consulting. They have many long-term clients, so projects are usually steady. As a Software Engineer in the Dublin office, I rarely worried about finding my next gig.
Cons: Sometimes client contracts end abruptly, leaving a few weeks on the bench. If your specific skills aren't immediately needed, you might feel a bit unsure. It's not a big tech company where you're guaranteed a role forever.
Advice to Management: Keep communication clear about project pipelines and potential bench time. Invest more in upskilling for in-demand technologies to keep employees engaged and marketable.
