Decent flexibility, could be better
Pros: They offer a pretty solid hybrid model, letting Customer Support Specialists do some remote work days which is a huge plus. It helps a lot in the telehealth industry where shifts can be varied, so having some WFH options is good.
Cons: However, true flexibility beyond the set hybrid days is tough to get. Changing shifts last minute or full-time remote work outside of emergencies isn't really an option here. It limits real personal scheduling when you need it most.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more genuine flexibility, not just a fixed hybrid schedule. Give team leads more power to approve ad-hoc WFH requests or shift swaps. It would really boost morale for teams needing that extra bit of give.

Great Flexibility for Remote Roles
Pros: The WFH policy here is genuinely good; you can really set your own hours. Being able to work remote from Melbourne gave me a lot of personal freedom. It's a huge plus for life balance.
Cons: Sometimes it feels like you're always connected, even with all the flexibility. Collaboration can be tricky with a fully remote startup team when people are in different time zones. Clearer communication about 'off' hours would help.
Advice to Management: Keep promoting asynchronous work and consider tools that better manage time zone differences for a smoother remote experience. Remind everyone it's okay to disconnect.

Decent Flexibility, But Can Improve
Pros: Working remote from Melbourne most of the week was a huge plus. The WFH option is strong, and that's good for personal appointments. It helps keep some work-life balance.
Cons: The 'hybrid' work model wasn't always truly flexible. We sometimes had to be in the Sydney office, which is tough when you're remote. Is work flexibility here truly cutting-edge? Not really for our product development teams.
Advice to Management: Truly embrace the remote culture and allow more asynchronous work for teams across different cities. Rethink mandatory 'office days' for those who aren't physically local.

Okay flexibility, but room to improve
Pros: I appreciate the hybrid work model. We can mostly choose our days in the Sydney office, which is a big plus for work-life balance. It's not rigid, so for many tech roles, you get some freedom.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility for Product Manager tasks clashes with team needs, making WFH days less productive if others are in. There's not always consistent communication about office days, which can be annoying.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer expectations for hybrid work, especially for cross-functional teams. More transparency on 'in-office' days would help.
