Pros: As a Project Manager in the Austin, TX office, I did appreciate the hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 remote). It's better than full onsite, which some corporate environments still demand. You get decent WFH days if your team allows.
Cons: The work flexibility isn't consistent across all departments for enterprise software development. Some teams can't really do full remote, even when it makes sense for the role. It felt a bit rigid sometimes, not truly empowering for individual needs.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize remote work policies more, especially for roles that don't need daily onsite presence. Empower team leads to offer more flexibility without a ton of red tape.
