Pros: My direct sales managers in the Montreal office are generally supportive. They understand the challenges of pro audio distribution and are pretty decent at coaching. We get solid benefits too.
Cons: Upper leadership sometimes feels out of touch with day-to-day operations. Decisions can take ages, which is tough when you're an Account Manager trying to close deals. There's not much clear vision from the top.
Advice to Management: Work on clearer communication and empower middle management more. Speed up decision-making processes. For a corporate environment, better transparency would help everyone.

Pros: My direct sales team is really supportive, which makes the day-to-day much better. There's a strong sense of camaraderie among the sales reps. The work-life balance is pretty good for an onsite role here in the Montreal office, usually 40-hour weeks.
Cons: The corporate culture is pretty old-school and moves slow. It's tough to get new ideas approved, especially in fast-paced consumer electronics sales. There's not much work flexibility; it's mostly in-office, which can feel outdated.
Advice to Management: Try to modernize the corporate approach. Listen more to the frontline sales teams on market trends and allow for more flexibility. It would help improve employee morale and innovation for pro audio and MI sales.
