Hybrid Model is Okay, Could Be Better
Pros: They do offer hybrid work, which is good for some days. As a Recruitment Consultant, it's nice to have a mix of WFH and office time for client meetings and team collaboration in the London office.
Cons: Flexibility isn't always what it seems though. You're expected in the office a lot more than initially promised, which makes true remote work tough. It often feels like you're tied to the desk even with the hybrid option for this fast-paced recruitment industry.
Advice to Management: Management needs to be clearer about actual in-office expectations for recruitment professionals. If you advertise hybrid, make it truly flexible, not just 'come in anyway' or for mandatory days that aren't consistent.

Decent Culture, But Work-Life Balance Can Be Tricky
Pros: The team environment is genuinely supportive. Colleagues in the London office are helpful, and I've learned tons about candidate sourcing and the recruitment industry.
Cons: Work-life balance as a Recruitment Consultant can be tough here. Long hours are common, especially around client deadlines, and the hybrid model sometimes means you're always 'on.'
Advice to Management: Try to protect evenings more. Set clearer expectations for off-hours communication, especially for recruitment consultant roles.

Decent for a recruitment job, but it's still sales.
Pros: For a Recruitment Consultant role, the work-life balance is surprisingly decent sometimes. They don't push crazy long hours every single week, especially if you hit your targets. The WFH option on certain days really helps.
Cons: It's still a sales job in a competitive recruitment industry, so expect pressure. You can easily get sucked into working past 5 PM to close deals. Some weeks feel like a non-stop grind.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage the expectations on consultants and provide clearer boundaries for work hours, especially during peak times. Burnout is a real concern in this industry.

Decent for sales, but leadership needs work
Pros: The commission structure for Recruitment Consultant roles is pretty competitive. They also provide decent initial training if you're new to the recruitment industry. There's a good buzz among the sales teams which helps keep things positive.
Cons: Leadership can be quite inconsistent; targets for recruitment consultants often shift suddenly. Getting clear, long-term direction from senior management is a struggle. It really impacts morale when there's poor communication from the top.
Advice to Management: Try to give clearer goals and stick to them. More open communication from leadership would really help everyone in the sales teams.
