Pros: It's good for starting out, especially for junior Certification Engineer roles. You learn the ropes of inspection and testing quickly. Pay is decent for a first or second job in the Houston, TX area.
Cons: Real career advancement is tough; promotions don't happen often. There aren't many development programs or chances to specialize within the company. You often get stuck doing the same tasks year after year as a Certification Engineer.
Advice to Management: Management should invest more in employee development and create clear paths for promotion. Offer more training for specialization to keep good people from leaving the TIC industry.

Pros: The people I worked with directly in the Houston, TX office were genuinely good folks. My team for inspection services was supportive and always willing to help out when things got busy.
Cons: The overall corporate culture feels a bit stuck in the past. There's not much emphasis on new ideas, which can be tough for an Inspection Coordinator wanting to innovate. Communication between different departments isn't always smooth.
Advice to Management: Really work on modernizing the corporate culture. Encourage more cross-departmental collaboration and actively seek out new ideas from employees, especially those in frontline inspection roles. It would make a huge difference.
