Okay if you like working alone
Pros: I've been a Real Estate Agent with EXP for a few years now. The remote work setup is pretty solid, offering great flexibility. It's an agent-centric model, which means a lot of freedom if you're self-motivated.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit isolating at times. There's not much of a traditional team vibe, which can be tough. It's really on you to find your community, especially as a newer agent.
Advice to Management: Try to foster more organic team building, especially for newer Real Estate Agents. Maybe some optional virtual social events or local meetups beyond just training.

Flexible, But Boundaries Blur Quickly
Pros: I love the flexibility as a Real Estate Agent. Working remote from Florida lets me set my own schedule. The cloud-based brokerage model truly allows for work-from-anywhere freedom, which is a huge pro for my personal life.
Cons: The flip side is work-life balance can be tough. Since you're commission-based, you feel 'on call' often. It's hard to disconnect, even with the WFH setup. Expect to put in long hours, especially starting out.
Advice to Management: Offer more resources or workshops on setting client boundaries for new agents. It's a common struggle in this industry.

Solid commission, but watch the fees
Pros: The commission split is pretty competitive, especially after you hit your cap. For a real estate agent, the revenue share program is a really nice perk if you grow your team. It's a great model for entrepreneurial types.
Cons: You'll pay monthly broker fees and tech fees, which can really add up. There's no base salary at all, so income isn't guaranteed every month. All your benefits, like health insurance, come out of pocket.
Advice to Management: Be more transparent about all the fees and costs involved upfront for new agents. Maybe offer some more affordable health insurance options or group rates.
