Culture's okay, but growth can be slow
Pros: The hybrid work model is great; it's easy to manage my personal life. We get decent support for learning new tech skills relevant to IT consulting projects. My team is generally collaborative, which helps a lot.
Cons: The company culture feels a bit too rigid at times. There's not always a clear path for career growth, especially for Associate Consultant roles, which can be frustrating. Decision-making can be really slow.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better defining career paths for junior roles. Also, try to empower teams more to speed up project decisions; it's a bit too top-down currently.

Decent Work-Life Balance, But Expect Busy Times
Pros: I appreciate the work flexibility here; the hybrid model with WFH days really helps manage personal life. For Consultant roles, there's generally a supportive team vibe in the Pune office. It's not always a grind.
Cons: When client deliverables are tight, you can kiss your evenings goodbye. There's a lot of pressure to be available, which can really mess with your work-life balance. It's tough in IT consulting when projects stack up.
Advice to Management: Management should really emphasize better resource planning and push for more realistic deadlines. It'll help prevent burnout for Consultants and improve overall team morale.

Decent Pay, Average Benefits for IT Consulting
Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer here is actually pretty competitive, especially compared to some other IT consulting firms in Bengaluru. You get paid well for the work you do in financial services technology.
Cons: Annual raises aren't always impressive, and the bonus structure feels a bit opaque. Benefits like health insurance are fine, but I've seen better packages at similar large corporate firms in India.
Advice to Management: Review the benefits package to make it more competitive with other large firms. Transparent bonus criteria and more consistent annual increments would really help employee morale.

Career growth is a bit slow here
Pros: It's a solid place for freshers to start, you get good exposure to enterprise-level projects in a corporate environment. The hybrid model offers a decent balance for onsite work and WFH days.
Cons: Career growth feels really slow for a Software Engineer, especially past the initial stages. The path for promotion isn't always clear, and it feels like you can hit a ceiling pretty quickly in the capability center.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clearer, faster career progression paths, particularly for technical roles. Provide more internal growth opportunities and mentor mid-level engineers.
