Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer is actually decent for Bengaluru. You'll get standard health insurance, which is a big plus. It's a stable corporate environment.
Cons: Annual raises aren't huge, and the bonus structure isn't very clear or competitive. I've seen better retirement plans elsewhere. There aren't many extra perks or allowances, which is common in the manufacturing industry IT sector.
Advice to Management: Look into making the bonus structure more transparent and competitive. Also, improving the retirement benefits would really help with retention.

Pros: It's a big global company, so job security is solid. We had a hybrid model, so working from home a few days a week was possible for my Software Engineer role. The Bengaluru office is nice and well-equipped.
Cons: Work flexibility really wasn't great beyond those set hybrid days. You still had to be in the office most of the week, even for tasks that could easily be remote. Management often pushed for more onsite presence, which made things tough for personal plans.
Advice to Management: Trust your employees more with flexible work options. For many engineering roles, full remote or more WFH days could boost morale and productivity without impacting quality.
