Solid Stability, Slow Pace for Engineers
Pros: As a Process Engineer in their Durham, NC plant, I've felt pretty secure. The company is huge and global, so it's not going anywhere quickly. The nonwovens industry is stable, which really helps job security here.
Cons: Career growth for technical roles can feel really slow, though. Sometimes you wonder if the lack of innovation could threaten long-term security. It's definitely not a fast-paced environment.
Advice to Management: Try to invest more in new product development and streamline decision-making processes to ensure future growth and keep employees engaged.

Leadership needs to improve vision and support
Pros: Solid benefits package. The team I worked with as a Process Engineer was genuinely great. You get to work on some interesting material science projects here, it's a stable, global company.
Cons: Leadership often struggles with clear communication. It's hard to get real direction for long-term technical projects. Senior management sometimes seems out of touch with day-to-day operations in the Durham, NC plant. Decision-making is really slow.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing clearer strategic objectives. Improve communication channels from senior management down to engineering teams. Support your Process Engineers better with resources and guidance.
