Pros: Job security is a real plus at this family-owned business. You don't often hear about layoffs, which is nice. The team in the Ahmedabad office is usually friendly and helpful, making daily tasks easier.
Cons: Career advancement is super slow, especially for an Investment Analyst. There isn't a clear path to move up, and I felt pretty stuck after a year. It's tough to gain new responsibilities or shift into higher-level financial services roles.
Advice to Management: You really need to define clearer career paths and offer more training for employees. It would help a lot with retention if people could see a future beyond their current role in the company.

Pros: The senior team in the Ahmedabad office really knows the brokerage industry. Mentorship is solid for new hires, you can learn a ton as an Equity Research Analyst early on. It's a stable, family-owned business.
Cons: Leadership can be a bit old-school and slow to adapt to new market trends. Feedback on performance isn't very consistent, so it's tough to know where you stand. Decisions feel very top-down and sometimes lack clear explanation.
Advice to Management: Try to empower middle management more and provide clearer, more frequent performance feedback to employees. Being more open to new ideas would really help.

Pros: The base salary for a Financial Analyst is competitive for the Ahmedabad market, especially for junior roles. You'll get your monthly pay on time, which is a big plus. There's good job security within the commodities market division.
Cons: The benefits package is pretty weak, honestly. There isn't much in terms of health insurance or retirement plans compared to other financial services firms. Bonuses are rare, and raises are usually minimal for most roles.
Advice to Management: Review the benefits package, especially health insurance and retirement contributions. A better benefits structure would attract and retain talent in the financial services sector.
