Claims Specialist

WFH is good, but hours are pretty fixed.
Pros: Working remote for MedRisk is a big plus. It saves a ton on commute time daily. As a claims specialist in workers' comp, having that WFH option is solid.
Cons: There's not much actual flexibility within the day. You can't really shift your start or end times. So true work flexibility is a bit tough, even working remote.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more flexible start/end times within the remote model. It'd really boost morale for the healthcare administration teams.

Okay for now, but growth is tough
Pros: Being a remote Clinical Case Manager is good; the work-from-home flexibility is a huge plus. The managed care industry here keeps you busy, and it's a stable job if you're comfortable with your current role. Benefits are decent too.
Cons: Career growth is really tough to find at this mid-sized healthcare company. There isn't much room for promotion for current employees, especially for experienced workers' comp professionals. You often feel stuck in the same position with limited upward mobility.
Advice to Management: Invest more in training and creating clear paths for advancement. People want to see a future here, especially for dedicated remote staff.

Client Services Representative

Okay Pay, Benefits Could Use a Boost
Pros: The 401k match is pretty good, which is a big plus. Health insurance plans are decent too, which I appreciate working remote from home. For many healthcare administration roles, these benefits are okay.
Cons: Base salary for a Client Services Representative feels a bit low compared to other companies in the managed care industry. There isn't much room for significant annual raises, so your pay can feel stuck for a while.
Advice to Management: Focus on competitive salaries for entry to mid-level healthcare administration roles. Review annual raise structure to ensure employees feel valued and their compensation grows over time. This would really help with retention.
