Pay is fine for remote, benefits could improve
Working at TAPI as a Software Engineer remotely has its pros and cons regarding pay and benefits. The base salary is competitive for the tech industry, which is a big plus. I appreciate the 401k match. However, the health insurance options are just okay, with high deductibles. Don't count on large bonuses, and stock options aren't as robust as I've seen at other places.
As a Software Engineer working remotely, the base pay is actually quite decent. It's competitive for the tech industry, especially since it's a fully remote setup. The 401k match is also a solid perk; I'm glad they offer that.
But the health benefits aren't great; plans have high deductibles. Don't expect big bonuses here, they're pretty minimal. Also, stock options aren't super generous for us non-execs.
Management really needs to improve the health benefits package. Offering more comprehensive plans would make a huge difference. Also, consider enhancing the bonus structure or making stock options more attractive for all employees, especially for those in API development roles, to boost overall compensation.
