Pros: You get solid job security here as a Sales Representative in the medical device industry. Selling their orthodontic products, like the Damon system, is decent because the brand is strong. So, learning the ropes in the orthodontic products space is a definite plus.
Cons: But is there career growth? Not really. Moving up or even sideways within the Brea, CA corporate environment is super slow. They don't seem to have a solid plan for developing reps or promoting from within, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Focus more on creating clear career paths and investing in training for Sales Representatives. You'll keep talent longer if there's a visible ladder.

Pros: The health insurance is actually really good here for a medical device company. They have a solid 401k match, which is a big plus. PTO accrual isn't bad either.
Cons: The base salary for a Marketing Specialist felt a bit low, especially for the Southern California cost of living. There weren't many significant pay raises or bonuses during my time at the Brea office.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate market rates for different roles, especially for those in marketing and product development. A more transparent bonus structure would really help with employee retention in this corporate environment.

Pros: I appreciate the hybrid work model; it definitely helps with the commute to the Orange County office a few days a week. As a Marketing Specialist, having dedicated remote days lets me focus without constant interruptions. It's a decent step towards work-life balance.
Cons: The 'flexibility' isn't always flexible, if that makes sense. We have set in-office days, and getting an exception for personal needs can be a real hassle. It feels like some teams have more WFH options than others, which isn't ideal in this corporate setup.
Advice to Management: Work on making the hybrid work model more consistent and genuinely flexible for everyone. Trust your teams more with their schedules, especially for roles like ours in the dental industry, where tasks aren't always tied to the office.
