Hybrid work is okay, but client needs come first
Pros: I appreciate the attempt at hybrid work. We get a couple of WFH days, which is good for avoiding the London commute. As a Consultant, it helps when you need to focus on complex ERP implementation tasks.
Cons: The work flexibility really depends on your client and project. Sometimes you're fully onsite for weeks, especially during critical Oracle Cloud ERP go-lives. It makes planning tough and the 'hybrid' model can feel more like 'mostly onsite' then.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid model more across all projects. It'd be great if project leads could offer more remote work options when possible, even for client-facing Oracle Cloud ERP roles.

Decent Hybrid Setup for Consulting Work
Pros: I've really appreciated the hybrid model here. As an Oracle ERP Consultant, I can split my week between working from home and the London office. It helps a lot with balancing client projects and personal life.
Cons: Sometimes the flexibility feels a bit uneven across teams, though. If you're on a super tight project deadline for an ERP implementation, it's pretty much all hands on deck onsite. There's not much room for last-minute WFH requests then.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the hybrid policy more, especially when project timelines get really tight. Consistency would help prevent burnout.

Decent Flexibility, But Depends on Project
Pros: They do offer some remote work options, which is a big plus. As a Business Analyst, I could often work from home a couple of days a week, especially when not tied to a client site. It helps with the commute in London.
Cons: The flexibility really depends on your project manager and client. If you're on an Oracle implementation, it's often expected you're onsite or very close to it. This can make planning tough.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize the work flexibility policy across all projects. It's frustrating when some teams get full hybrid and others are practically forced into full-time onsite for long periods.
