Starting out as the leading niche recruitment experts in Scala eight years ago, we've expanded our expertise to support clients and candidates in building exceptional tech teams across a wider range of specializations.

From our offices in LA, Austin, and London, we offer both permanent and contract technology staffing solutions and are dedicated to nurturing the tech community. We share knowledge through blogs and podcasts, organize meetups, sponsor events, and offer some of the coolest jobs on the market.

Supportive Environment for Tech Recruitment Pros
Pros: As a Recruitment Consultant at Signify Technology in London, I've really valued the supportive team culture. Leadership is generally hands-on and provides great guidance, which helps with professional development in the tech recruitment industry. There's good work flexibility and a respectable work-life balance.
Cons: Career progression can sometimes feel a bit slow depending on market conditions. Some internal approval processes could be streamlined for better efficiency.
Advice to Management: Continue to invest in streamlining internal processes and clearly outlining career progression paths. Proactive communication about market changes and company strategy would also be beneficial for employee morale and alignment.

Work-Life Balance is a Real Mixed Bag
Pros: The team here is solid, and there's good support for remote work if you need it. As a Software Engineer, I appreciated the flexibility on some days to manage personal appointments.
Cons: The biggest issue is the work-life balance. It can be tough, especially during big product releases. I often felt like I couldn't fully disconnect, and the expectations for engineering roles can be high.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads, especially for software development teams. Encourage more breaks and clearer boundaries around working hours to prevent burnout.

Good Vibes, But Pressure Can Be High
Pros: The team culture in the London office is genuinely solid. Everyone's pretty supportive of each other, especially for new Recruitment Consultants joining the tech recruitment industry. We had some good team events which helped build connections. It feels like a mid-sized firm where people know each other.
Cons: The 'work hard, play hard' vibe sometimes leans too heavily into constant pressure. There's not always a clear separation between work and social life, which can get tiring. It can also feel a bit cliquey if you're not always participating, which impacts the overall company culture for those who prefer less constant social engagement.
Advice to Management: Try to ease up on the constant social pressure. It's okay for people to just focus on their jobs sometimes without feeling like they need to be at every happy hour. Support a healthier work-life balance for everyone.
