Pros: Some of the team leads in our Burlington, Ontario office are really good at technical guidance. They're strong in broadcast technology and always ready to help with complex video infrastructure problems for AV Systems Engineer roles. The company is pretty stable.
Cons: Upper management often seems out of touch with day-to-day operations. There's a lack of clear communication from the top, which makes planning tough for new projects. Onsite work is standard, so don't expect much work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Try to get more input from individual contributors and middle management when making big decisions. Improve transparency on project goals and company direction to help us as AV Systems Engineers. This would really boost morale.
