Okay Work-Life, Depends on Your Team
Pros: You do get decent benefits, and the pay is solid for a big company. When things are calm, a standard 40-hour week is possible, which is nice. There's a lot of stability working in logistics for FedEx.
Cons: The work-life balance here is tough when there are peak seasons or big projects. I've had weeks as an Operations Analyst where I was easily putting in 50+ hours. It's not always easy to plan personal time.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage workloads, especially for corporate roles like Operations Analyst. More consistent expectations around hours would really help.

Decent first job, job security is solid
Pros: For an entry-level Customer Service Representative, job security here is pretty good. It's a huge logistics industry player, so there's always work to do. The benefits package is actually decent for corporate standards.
Cons: The pay isn't great for the workload, especially with the tough customer calls you often get. Career growth can feel really slow if you don't aggressively network within the company. Work-life balance can be tricky with shift rotations in the Memphis, TN call center.
Advice to Management: Consider better pay for the more challenging customer service calls. More transparent career paths would also really help retain good people.

Pay is okay, benefits are solid
Pros: The health insurance is decent, and I really liked the retirement matching. For an onsite Customer Service Representative, the benefits package definitely helps make up for the average pay. It's what you'd expect from a big corporate employer in the logistics industry.
Cons: The hourly wage isn't great, especially for the workload. There's not much room for quick salary bumps either. It's tough to get by on just the base pay in the Memphis, TN area without relying on overtime.
Advice to Management: Look at increasing the starting hourly pay for Customer Service Representatives. It's hard to attract and keep good people when the pay is just barely competitive.
