Solid place, but culture needs a refresh
Pros: There's good job security here, which is nice for a big company. The teams working on the factory floor are usually pretty supportive, especially when you're dealing with new PVC manufacturing lines. We also get decent health benefits.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit old-fashioned; innovation isn't always encouraged. For a Production Engineer, career growth can feel slow if you're looking to move up quickly. Decisions take a long time to get approved.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more bottom-up ideas and empower teams. Modernize the corporate culture a bit to keep good talent, especially for technical roles like Production Engineer in plumbing solutions manufacturing.

Pay is okay, but benefits could improve
Pros: For a large manufacturing company like Ashirvad, the base salary as a Sales Executive is pretty decent in the Bangalore office. Commissions can be good if you hit your targets, which is a nice incentive in the PVC manufacturing sector.
Cons: The benefits package isn't the best compared to some other corporate environments. Health insurance coverage feels a bit basic, and there aren't many extra perks or bonuses outside of the standard sales commission structure.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing the overall benefits package to be more competitive. Better health coverage or additional perks would really help with retention and employee satisfaction.

Career growth stalled here, unfortunately.
Pros: You learn a lot about the PVC pipes and fittings manufacturing market, especially working onsite in the Bangalore office. It's a solid, stable corporate company if you just want to stay at your current level.
Cons: As a Sales Manager, there aren't many opportunities to move up the ladder. Internal promotions are rare, and career paths aren't clear at all. You just feel stuck without much real professional development.
Advice to Management: Please create clearer promotion criteria and invest in professional development for employees. Make sure there's a path forward for those of us in sales roles if you want to retain talent.

Pay is Decent, Benefits Need a Boost Here
Pros: As a Sales Manager, the base salary was pretty competitive for the Bengaluru office. It's a solid offer for sales roles in the plumbing solutions industry if you hit your targets.
Cons: The bonus structure can be a bit opaque, and frankly, the healthcare benefits aren't great compared to other corporate environments. There's not much flexibility with other perks either.
Advice to Management: Rethink the benefits package, particularly health insurance options. A clearer bonus system for sales managers would also help with employee retention.

Ashirvad is solid but work-life can be a grind.
Pros: It's a pretty stable job in the PVC piping manufacturing industry. The company's well-established and offers decent job security for full-time roles. My team in the Bengaluru office is generally supportive, which helps when things get hectic.
Cons: Work-life balance is tough, especially as a Production Engineer. You're expected to be onsite and hours often extend past 5 PM. Weekend work isn't uncommon when there are tight production deadlines, making it hard to switch off. There isn't much work flexibility; remote or hybrid options aren't really a thing for my role.
Advice to Management: Management needs to really look at staffing levels to prevent employee burnout. Implementing clearer boundaries for work hours, especially for critical roles like Production Engineers, would significantly improve morale and retention.

Hybrid model needs more flexibility for Supply Chain
Pros: The hybrid work option is technically there, which is a plus. We do get a couple of WFH days a week, which helps a bit for personal errands. For Supply Chain Analyst roles, it's decent for some basic flexibility.
Cons: But those WFH days are fixed, you can't just swap them around easily. It's tough to get approval for extra remote days, especially in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you're in the Bengaluru office, expect to be onsite most days.
Advice to Management: Give managers more discretion to approve WFH days based on team needs, not just a blanket policy. Trust employees, especially for office-based roles not directly on the production floor.

Stable Job, But Pay Isn't Top-Tier for Production
Pros: Working as a Production Supervisor at Ashirvad, the job itself is pretty stable. This corporate environment in the PVC piping and plumbing solutions industry has consistent demand, so there's solid job security. They do offer basic benefits, which is decent.
Cons: However, the compensation for production supervisor roles in Bangalore feels pretty average, even a bit low. Don't expect huge annual raises or generous bonuses; the pay and benefit package could definitely improve. It's tough to feel truly valued financially.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the salary bands for key roles like Production Supervisors in Bangalore. Investing more in competitive pay and better benefits would really help with employee morale and retention.
