Pros: Great place for software engineers in real estate tech. I've grown a lot here, tackling complex projects and learning new tech. Teams are very supportive, and there are good opportunities for career development. Leadership sets clear goals, fostering ownership and a collaborative spirit. The hybrid model is also a plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Can sometimes feel a bit bureaucratic with slower approval processes for new initiatives. Cross-departmental communication isn't always seamless, leading to minor inefficiencies.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal approval processes and enhancing cross-departmental communication to boost overall efficiency and innovation.

Pros: For me, as a Senior Software Engineer, the option to work fully remote from Dallas, TX, was a huge plus. The WFH policy is solid for most technical roles, which is great for work-life balance in the PropTech industry.
Cons: Not all teams have the same flexibility; some folks on the Richardson campus have a strict hybrid work schedule. It's tough if your manager isn't fully on board with remote collaboration, even for a SaaS company like us.
Advice to Management: Standardize hybrid and remote work policies across all departments, not just for technical roles. Ensure managers are trained on how to effectively lead distributed teams in this large corporate company.

Pros: You learn a ton about SaaS solutions for multifamily housing. The benefits package was solid, which is nice for a big tech company. I gained valuable sales experience as an Account Manager.
Cons: The company culture is really hierarchical. It's tough to get new ideas heard. There's not much room for innovation from the ground up, which was frustrating.
Advice to Management: Focus on empowering teams and fostering a more collaborative environment. Listen to the people on the ground, especially those in client-facing roles like Account Managers.
